Meet the team

Rachel is Rescue Desk’s founder and fearless leader. She launched the firm in early 2008, and has been helping any small business owner that crosses her path ever since. She thrives on the energy and enthusiasm of our clients, and works hard to surround herself with creativity every day. On her downtime, she can usually be found hiking with her dogs, hiding out at a remote campsite in the Wisconsin north woods, or curled up in her little Sun Prairie house with her husband and any number of animals she fosters for the local humane society.

Catherine, a UW-Madison graduate, is our Project Manager and ensures that our clients’ projects are delivered on time, on budget, and are broken down into manageable phases. Here at the home office, she’s responsible for running the day-to-day Rescue Desk operations, managing our team members and partners, and overseeing our Social Media Maintenance service. She’s also a HUGE U2 fan!

Erin has training in business management and is our Project Coordinator and Detail Diva! Thanks to her passion and natural ability to organize everything around her, she steps in to manage everything from data organization and spreadsheets to event support to research projects. When she isn’t rescuing businesses, Erin enjoys hiking, couponing, paper crafting, and hanging out with her two boys.

Amanda is a graduate of Marietta College and spent 12 years as a newspaper copyeditor for a variety of publications in Northeastern Wisconsin. She is our ROCK STAR editor and assists with graphic design projects. When Amanda isn’t obsessing over hyphens and syntax, she likes knitting (especially socks and sweaters), reading (especially mysteries), cooking, and wrangling her two dogs and three cats.

Grace has a background in psychology, art history, web design, and educational technology.  When it comes to complexity and thoroughness, Grace is who we turn to. Her brilliant attention to detail and appreciation for clean design are utilized when she organizes and presents information in a meaningful way. She lives on a farm, enjoys reading, biking, being creative, and learning how things work.

Emilie is a UW-Eau Claire grad and our social media writer/editor extraordinaire. When a project commands fast-paced, researched, and nuanced writing Emilie is our go-to team member.  She enjoys taking her dogs hiking with Rachel and loves camping, reading, cooking, and talking about all-things-U2 with Catherine.
